Cyril Shroff has over 43 years of experience in areas including corporate and securities law, dispute resolution, banking, bankruptcy and infrastructure.
Shroff has been ranked as an “eminent practitioner” in India by Chambers and Partners, regarded as “the M&A King of India”, and recognised as an award-winning professional across practices. A thought leader and a visionary, he is known for advising on many first-of-their-kind transactions.
Shroff is the chairman of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) corporate laws committee and the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) financial regulatory committee. He is a member of the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) committee on regulatory issues relating to fintech, the CII’s national start-up council and national committee on legal services, and the IMC International ADR Centre first apex advisory committee. He is a board member of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and a task force member of the Society of Insolvency Practitioners of India.
